Building Performance Solutions, LLC. is seeking HERS Raters, Rating Field Inspectors, or certified National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Verifiers to perform ratings under the ENERGY STAR and NGBS programs. Responsibilities include site inspections and performance testing to confirm green program requirements, project documentation to complete certification process, day-to-day interactions with multiple builder accounts, including explanation of various code & program requirements, scheduling and reporting.
Applicant must:
- Be a RESNET HERS Rater or Field Inspector in good standing with RESNET, or;
- Achieve required certification within 30 days of employment.
- Have a good understanding of building science, energy modeling and residential construction of primary trades which affect overall building performance.
- Be in good physical condition and able to carry up to 50lbs of equipment and hoist themselves up into attic spaces.
- Have a dependable vehicle with current and valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
